The Cooking Show 2.0
Hello Seattle! I so love seattle. I’ve never been anywhere in the U.S. where I seem to scream “hey, I’m totally fresh off the California boat” as much as Seattle. I suppose the douche-y Mustang convertible I rented (don’t ask) wasn’t helping the matter.
Anyway Seattle has some really good eats. When there I recommend trying Skillet Diner for breakfy. I had the cornmeal waffle with maple glazed pork belly. It was rad. When you’re in the mood for second breakfast, head on over to Beth’s Cafe. Oh, dude, order the Amish bread Seriously, ’nuff said!
If you want to eat in a fancy, hip spot with the most awesome open kitchen then head on over to Sitka and Spruce. It’s a sweet farm to table restaurant. It doesn’t get more Pacific Northwest than that.
Okay, I wish we had an all Alice in Chains show to share with you. It would have been so meta of us. But alas we played some awesome tracks from the likes of The Dirty Projectors, Bibio and Weatherbox. P.S. I love the Dirty Projectors, but hate their name. I makes me feel like we’re running out of names.
