Sonjie Feliciano Solomon is an artist/designer based in Brooklyn, NY whose work explores ephemerality and transformation, light and shadow, structure and collapsibility, and the designed and the organic.
Sonjie has had solo shows at Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, Causey Contemporary and IOI Gallery. And she has participated in group exhibitions in spaces such as The Curator Gallery, Honolulu Museum of Art, Nancy Margolis Gallery Work Gallery, Longwood Art Gallery, Bridge Gallery, New Art Center, ArtPrize, ART ASIA Fair, RISD Memorial Hall Gallery, Ch’i Contemporary Fine Art, Kentler International Drawing Space, Cheongju International Biennale, Craftland and Daegu International Textile Show
She is the recipient of the Urban Artist Initiative/NYC Fellowship, administered in collaboration with the New York Foundation for the Arts
And she has a marketing degree from Georgetown University and a degree in industrial design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
She is currently working on a commission for Montefioure Hospital.
