Priscilla Dobler is an interdisciplinary artist, born in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico and raised in Tacoma, Washington by an immigrant mother and grandparents; her work explores the complex identity into which she was born, shaped by the themes of labor, race, gender, and domesticity.

Her work has been exhibited at the NARS Foundation, Brooklyn, NY; 125 Maiden Lane, NY, NY; Olympic Sculpture Park, Seattle, WA; Decentered Gallery, Puebla, Mexico; Method Gallery, Seattle, WA; Feast Art Gallery, Tacoma, WA; and Williamsburg Art and Historical Society, Brooklyn, NY among others

In addition, she was a 2014 recipient of Grants for Artist Projects from the Artist Trust, 2015 Bailey Award, 2016 Edwin T. Pratt Scholarship and in 2017 award a Tacoma Artist Initiative Program Grant. Since 2016 and currently, she completed four successful artist residencies at Marfa Contemporary Residency, Marfa, Texas, Arquetopia Ceramic Residency in Puebla, Mexico, The Studios at MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA and Benaco Arte in Sirmione, Italy.

She received her MFA in Sculpture from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2013.
