Matthew Eric Mendez is a Texas-based artist, curator and writer who travels the western landscape with his sculptural performance art project, Ghost Orchid Cube.
Matthew received his MA in Art Studio & Theory from Drury University and a BA in Literature from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio TX. He was also a participant at the Land Arts Program at Texas Tech University.
His work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, The Museum of Texas Tech University, the High Wire Gallery, Art League Museum and the San Antonio Artist Collective Gallery in San Antonio, TX.
He currently has work at the Blue Star Contemporary in San Antonio.
