Janice Sloane is a NY-based artist who works with themes of decay and impermanence. She has had solo exhibitions at The Shala Yoga House in NYC, Gallery 117, Governors Island Art Fair, Repair Shop Gallery in Mexico DF, Art Resources Transfer Inc. and Galeria Art Vance Mexico D.F.
Her work has been included in group shows in spaces such as: Temporary Storage, Equity Gallery, Westbury Community College, Bullet Space, SPRING/BREAK, and David & Schweitzer Co. among others.
She has been an artist in residence at the Eileen Kaminsky Foundation Studio Artist Residency, MANA Contemporary, and Salem Art Works.
Her work is in private collections in New York and Austria
