New York rock group Operator Music Band land somewhere on planet sound between Kraftwerk and Devo, with minimalist, repetitive pulsations and woozy synth swells forming a base for their punchy, hypnotic future-music. Citris is the grunge-inflected Brooklyn pop band headed up by singer/guitarist Angelina Torreano. Her heavy-hooked, sludgy riffs and tastefully dynamic verse-chorus-verse vibes are fleshed out by Chris Krasnow (guitar/vocals), Eva Lawitts (bass), and Zane West (drums). Listen to the audio podcast for more music and interview.
