Banana is a rock trio from Boston, MA. With heavy riffs, deep hooks, and the full range from jangly to full on wall of sound, they’re out to give you more than just your daily dose of potassium. The band dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn while passing thru NYC to show us how they do it. Post-Grunge Revival is available now from King Pizza Records. Check out the video for Banana’s “Kittie” and listen to the audio podcast for more music and interview.
Brooklyn-based duo True Dreams are a wickedly fun and raw tag team of “cheerleader punx” songwriters who go right for the throat with their snotty anthems. Don’t be fooled by the cuteness of their gimmicky onstage patty cake (it’s awesome tho) – they absolutely mean business and will FUCK YOU UP. They’re sloppy and fun and silly and totally serious and if you disagree, well, whatever. Angela Carlucci plays guitar and sings, and Hannah Nichols plays drums and sings, and we were so psyched to have them join us at Serious Business Music in Brooklyn for this super fun session. No. 1 is out now from King Pizza Records. Check out the video for True Dreams’ “Fucked Up World” and listen to the audio podcast for more music and interview.
The Rizzos return to BTR Live Studio, except this time instead of playing at Serious Business Music in Brooklyn they’re just playing in Justin’s living room in Ridgewood.  In this episode we catch up about staying creative in a global pandemic, the recording of their forthcoming full-length album (hitting your ear holes sometime in 2021) and the joys of quitting a job that you hate.
Megan Mancini and Justin Ferraro of Brooklyn garage punk band The Rizzos – along with drummer Cody Buesing – join us for a very different return appearance on BTR Live Studio, this time from Justin’s living room in Ridgewood, Queens! The Rizzos are working on a full-length album due some time in 2021! Listen to the audio podcast for more music and interview.
Throw on that hazmat suit and head to the beach to jam out to Milk for the Angry and this new single.

We’re a little obsessed with King Pizza bands and we love to have them in for BTR Live Studio.
