On August 7th, Drag City announced the death of one of its artists, David Berman. Berman fronted Silver Jews and his honest and raw lyrics built a cult following (which included the BTR Staff). Today on The Alt-Country Show, we are paying tribute to him by featuring tracks from his latest project, Purple Mountains. The project dropped its first and only album less than a month before his death. RIP to one of the greats.
