Ooooh yes, we are truly in the thick of this thing called summer now. New York City smells like garbage, which is truly spot on for this show, Garbage Garage. While we do have some garage rock on the show today, there’s quite a lot more. Psychedelic music from Colorado, Blood Orange’s unclassifiable collage, and of course, we’re starting it off to a little salute to the men of Real Estate. And don’t forget to check out BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, and SoundCloud.
Happy Saturday!! Last Saturday on the East Coast was definitely an indoors-day, so I’m looking forward getting out and about today. And we’ve got a great playlist for that today, with a lot of brand new tracks and old favorites. And don’t forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, and SoundCloud.
Everybody, stop the presses! It finally happened! We’re finally playing…straight up country on the Saturday show. Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later- BTR gives all kinds of music a fair shake. Plus, it’s only one song. And oh yeah, we’ve got a ton of other great stuff from Telegraph Canyon, Good Field and Flo Morrissey. Make sure to check them all out!
On today's God Bless Weirdmerica, our first two songs demonstrate what's so great about BTR. This show is all about crossing genres, and that can mean a lot of things! We start off the show with Agnes Obel, almost a classical track, and then jolt you into consciousness with Zach Hill, a punk rock weirdo. Both genre-bending, both completely different, and that's how we like it! Plus, don't forget to check out BTR's social media like Facebook and Twitter!
We have a fabulously weird show for you on God Bless Weirdmerica today! We cover everything from folk to new more electronic weirdness from Eno / Hyde (Eno being Brian Eno, of course) and Nat Baldwin! So stick around to weird up your Wednesday, and while you're at it, make sure to check out BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, and SoundCloud!
Today on the show we've got a great new song from one of my favorite bands, King Tuff. Plus, we've got great hip-hop, punk, and experimental tunes, plus all the indie favorites that we know you love. Want more? Make sure to check out BTR on Facebook and Twitter for all of the latest updates.
