Tickley Feather
Today on God Bless Weirdmerica we’re playing all very, very short songs, including tracks from Panda Bear, Mirah, and Oneohtrixpointnever!
It’s a really conventional show today!  Thanks goodness both those conventions are over, so we’re celebrating today with a convention-theme to our playlist. After that, we play some new music, including a track from Dinosaur Jr.’s new album.  And then, we give you the best of the best- jazz, hip-hop, folk- all the good stuff.  And don’t forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, and SoundCloud.
This week on God Bless Weirdmerica we’re dusting off some really great tracks, from the likes of Angel Olsen, Damaged Bug, and Tickley Feather.  In this season of near-constant commercialism, take a second to sit back and relax and get a little weird.  Plus, tune in next week for our Christmas Eve Weirdmerica special.  And while you’re at it, don’t forget to check out BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, and SoundCloud!
Happy six year anniversary God Bless Weirdmerica! That’s right; we’ve been serving up all the newest, all the weirdest tunes for you over the past six years. Find something that doesn’t quite fit into any established genre? Things that are unique and live on their own? Then you’ll have found them on this show. We’ve seen so many great artists and great albums, and today I play some of my faves, some that date back all the way to my very first show. So enjoy! Here’s to six more years of total weirdness!
When was the last time you heard a rock record that was just piano music? Huh? Not in a really, really long time, right? That's why I think this new Moonface album is so exciting and interesting. Just Spencer Krug's beautiful vocals and his beautiful piano-playing. We start off the show toady with the best track form that new album, and follow it up with a full show of the best new weird music. And don't forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, and Pinterest!
It's the day before the 4th of July!!! The fourth of July is as American as apple pie. It's about fireworks and cakes with blueberries and strawberries shaped like the American flag on them and the constitution. It's the most normal holiday we have. Which is why today we're gonna be real, real weird. Stay tuned for new tracks from Mood Rings and Baths, plus a new one for the show from The Microphones. And don't forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, and Pinterest.
