The best of the best on BTR!
DJ Wynn finishes his countdown of his favorite albums that flew under the radar in 2013. Listen to music from Nils Frahm, Sin Fang, Thee Oh Sees, Hookworms, and William Onyeabor.
It's finally time for the annual Saturday show end of year wrap up! Instead of just doing my favorite songs from the year, I'm doing something a little different. Over the course of three shows I'm going to play all my favorite songs from the year in chronological order of when they were released! That way you can do a mental/musical walk down memory lane of your year. Pretty fun, right? And don't forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, and Instagram!
Part 2 of 6 shows in which I play all of my favorite songs from 2013
Sunday's with DJ Drew on BTR
I know you're probably sick of Christmas tunes by now, and guess what? You're in luck! There are ZERO Christmas songs on this show today! In fact, we're even playing NEW music on the show today. Check out tracks from Childish Gambino, Thee Oh Sees, and Magik Markers. And don't forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, and Instagram!

Today I talk about and play music from the new Childish Gambino album, "Because The Internet"
The best of the best this week on BTR!
DJ Wynn lists his favorite single tracks of the year. Not official singles, but tracks that caused goosebumps and can be played over and over again. Listen to tracks from Nils Frahm, Blood Orange, Sin Fang, Thee Oh Sees, and William Onyeabor.
RAR tackles Spike Lee's Oldboy remake, we discuss the Asian influence in American cinema, and we also give you a list of great films to check out for awesome action and gratuitous violence. That, top entertainment stories, and some chit chat should have you all set for the weekend.
It's the first Saturday in December, which means we're firmly in winter. And we've got a little mini-theme on the show today to celebrate that fact. Wintry songs from The Loom and Hot Panda will be on the show, plus exciting new tracks from The Sandwitches and Thee Oh Sees. And don't forget- if you want to stay up to date on all things BTR, make sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Only one more week 'till the Rock Show's World-Famous 'Year-In-Review' segments begin... I'm itching with anticipation... Somebody get me my cream, dammit!!
Calling all fashion fans! It’s Multitasking Week here on BTR, and I have got one master multitasker for you on the show today! Marci Zaroff is an unstoppable eco-entrepreneurial force; President of Portico Brand Groups, Marci developed and oversees its subsidiaries Under the Canopy and FASE, two eco-fashion (which, by the way, is a term she coined back in 1996) labels. And as if that weren’t enough, she and her husband Eric are co-creators of I AM Enlightened Creations, an herbal/Ayurvedic supplement line, *and* Marci is currently co-producing a documentary about the environmental impacts of the fashion industry, called “Thread.” With that much to discuss, we’ll be multitasking our way through today’s show! Marci will share about her transition from a career in food to a focus on fashion, the development of her labels Under the Canopy and FASE, the “Thread” documentary and its mission, and a few of her own favorite multitasking wardrobe pieces. Plus, I have a great playlist chock full of recent releases for you, including the latest from British singer-songwriter sensation Anna Calvi, Bay Area garage rockers Thee Oh Sees, folk sister duo Lily & Madeleine, and more. So tune in while you do some holiday shopping, and multitask with sustainable style on BreakThru Radio!

Like a scientist, artist Aspen Mays' work is about the search for knowledge. However, unlike a scientist, she's much more interested in the search than the knowledge. For her, science is a kind of lens to explore the vexing and unanswerable questions of life: Questions about the the limits of knowledge, the nature of existence and whether or not we're alone in the cosmos.

Also among the mix, new trippy electro beats from Houses, alternative from English Singles, and a lo-fi track that belongs on vinyl by Dump. Plus, set your travel calendar with info on a pair of festivals in France and Budapest. And for good measure, a few choice throwbacks mixed in from the likes of Peter Bjorn & John and My Teenage Stride. How’s that for a spring-fresh mix on BTR with DJRePete?
