DIY is to the fashion world as p.b. is to j, and this week on Sew & Tell I'm honored to have In Style's resident DIY expert Jenni Radosevich. Jenni is on the layout design team for In Style, but she also contributes DIY articles that give readers the opportunity to make their own versions of hot trends and accessories. Not only that, but Jenni has a strong following on her own blog I Spy DIY, where craft-on-istas can find even more inspiration, instructions, and insight into the how-tos of creative style. On today's show, Jenni talks about her start with tie-dye and puffy paint (remember that stuff??), the challenges and benefits of DIY fashion, and even divulges a few of her favorite sources for crafty supplies.
Plus tons of great music including a Glass Ghost cover from Sharon Van Etten, new music from Chad VanGaalen, and a fun surfer-pop-tinged tune from Kids On A Crime Spree to ring in the summer sun. So crack open that craft cupboard and get ready for some radio!
