Sammi Lanzetta released her debut LP Ceiling Mirror in 2019 on 6131 Records, and like many musicians with a fresh release she was expecting to spend most of 2020 on tour promoting it. Of course, that didn’t happen. In this episode of BTR Live Studio at Home, Lanzetta delivers an intimate solo performance from her NYC fire escape. Ceiling Mirror is available now from 6131 Records. Check out the video for "House Plants" and listen to the audio podcast for more music and interview.
This weird year is wrapping up—finally. It feels strange to do a year’s end list. A lot happened this year, but also a lot didn’t happen. The music industry as we know it ground to halt in March, but we’ve adapted, and even if there aren’t any tours or sweaty club shows, people are still making music. And that’s a good thing. In this episode I’ll be recapping some of my favorite tracks from the artists who joined me on Live Studio from home. Thanks to everyone who joined me on the show to gripe about 2020  and shared their music with me.
