This week, Jason has some great, finely-matched pairs of songs, from all over the globe. USA, the UK, Spain, Nigeria, Portugal, and possibly one more. So, put on your globe-trotting shoes, and don’t forget to let me know where you bought them; as I didn’t know that they were a real thing. I just use standard hiking boots. What a loser..
This week, Jason has more songs than the Eurovision Song Contest, minus a bunch of songs. There genuinely is a fantastic variety of styles in today’s show though, even if it doesn’t quite live up to Eurovision’s sheer entertainment value. We definitely make up for that in quality. One of the best shows we’ve ever done. Yes.
DJRePete’s Best In Mix 2015 concludes this week with electronica from CHVRCHES and Bob Moses, alternative from Toro Y Moi and FFS, and soulful beats with Saun & Starr and 11 Acorn Lane. Tune in for info on BTR bands playing New Years Eve shows, including one doing an “eve eve” show instead. Plus, some trippy goodness with Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Michael Rault, and Of Montreal. Start the countdown a day early as DJRePete closes out 2015 on your BTR Wednesday!
This week, Jason has presents for everyone! Including himself! He’ll be un-wrapping a gift from his sister, live on the air! How exciting! And you, dear viewer, get to unwrap the gift of music, in handy little chunks, throughout the show. Oh boy! I can’t wait! Can you?
This week, Jason’s heart is beating a mile a minute, because of some exciting tracks by Eddie Cano, Joe Shinall, Destruments and the incredible Waltel Branco. As well as the as yet un-released early 80s brit-funk of Afrika. Oh boy! I can’t wait! Can you?
New music from Bob Moses, Born Ruffians, Night Beds, and Air Waves.
