The inauguration of a new administration in the United States is upon us and that's kind of exciting. It's not exactly the same excitement as a kid on Christmas, but still, I'm looking forward to the change. Lots of music, a block of tunes dedicated to my kids and a shout out to Broken Baby for sharing their track (via Twitter) so that I may share it with all of you. Check out the video for "Manic Panic" also. As mentioned, a follow up list of accounts to follow on insta. Make your scrolling a little more worthy of your time! You can see my original list here. The new year continues, and the new music keeps coming! Listen in for new jams from Um Are, Clever Girls, Osees, Corvair, and more!
The last week has been a bit of a blur -- apparently an attempt to overthrow the government can really cloud the air. Some breathing music this week. Some old standbys as well as some new tracks with more instrumental tracks than usual. Don't forget that while these events were shocking, they should not be considered surprising -- people behaved exactly as Donald Trump has been suggesting they should. The countdown is on until the Biden-Harris Administration is in place. Take a look at the ACLU's To-Do List to hold our new leadership accountable. One good thing to come out of the last week is all the great music that came my way as a result of my call on Twitter. There will be more in the coming weeks but I'm super pumped to share "Heart Aches" by Atlanta-based artist MarCell JB who got in touch right away when I asked for links to new music. You can also see the video here.

This is part 2 of 3 for my 2020 year in music recap. As always, this is an incomplete list of my favorites, and presented unranked, though along the way I may highlight some records that really stood out a little extra for me this year. We’re doing things alphabetically this time around, so this episode covers artist names from E to N.
