Today we have two brand new tracks from local Brooklyn bands on the show: The Babies and Widowspeak. Alligator has those chord changes that tug on your heartstrings, and Ballad of the Golden Hour conjures up a slick, gorgeous atmosphere. They're the perfect songs for your Thanksgiving turkey hangover. And make sure to follow BTR on Facebook and Twitter.
Have you heard about the exciting new photo contest BTR is hosting for Discovery Week? All you have to do is take a photo of something you've discovered recently (maybe a great new band from the Saturday show?) and send it in for a chance to be on the BTR photo blog! Cool, right? And as always, we've got a ton of awesome music for you on the show today, so make sure to stay tuned!
It's CMJ week in New York!!! It's been a very busy CMJ for BTR. And while all of our showcases are done, we've had an amazing time, and we're going to start the show off with music from bands from all of our showcases. And that's not all the CMJ we have in store for you. The rest of the bands featured on the show today have showcases tonight! So if you're in New York, be sure to get out there and see some live music (after following BTR on Facebook and Twitter, of course)!
Suck my kiss, it's The Rock Show!
What's the perfect music for the first Saturday in May? What about some summer songs from Best Coast, Ty Segall, and Lower Dens? Good thing they all have amazing new albums out! We're playing brand new music from all these artists and more on the show today! In the words of Patti Smith, "This is the era where everyone creates."
Spring is finally here!  At least that's what it feels like in New York!  With several over-70 degree days this week, I had to keep it super upbeat today.  We've got springy tracks from the likes of Harlem Shakes, Free Energy, and Eli 'Paperboy' Reed.  Make sure to check out BTR on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest updates!
What's up, all my Rock Show fanatics? Hope you are ready for the Rock Show in 2012 b/c it's coming at you at the speed of sound and there's nothing you can do to stop it!
