It's the BEST of 2014, Part 1! VERY EXCITING!!
2014 is almost over!! There’s only just a few days left, and on this week’s show, we’re going to play some of the best new songs from this year! It’s part one of a part two celebration of all the amazing music in 2014. So check out this batch of songs, and then make sure to tune in again next Saturday for the rest!! It’ll be a Saturday treat between Christmas and New Year’s!
This week on God Bless Weirdmerica we’re dusting off some really great tracks, from the likes of Angel Olsen, Damaged Bug, and Tickley Feather.  In this season of near-constant commercialism, take a second to sit back and relax and get a little weird.  Plus, tune in next week for our Christmas Eve Weirdmerica special.  And while you’re at it, don’t forget to check out BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, and SoundCloud!
Happy October! It’s Halloween month, and if this radio show could speak for itself and pick a holiday, it would definitely be Halloween! I mean, what holiday is weirder!?!? We’ll do a spooky halloween show for you later in the month, but we’re ramping up to it today with cool weirdness from Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks! And don’t forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, and SoundCloud!
Ooooh boy, today on the show I get to play you an old song from one of my all time favorite old bands- The Unicorns.  They broke up over ten years ago, and now they’re playing for the first time since!  And speaking of old favorites, we go on a walk down memory lane today with Bishop Allen and Orenda Fink.  It’s all here on BTR, and all you have to do is sit back, relax, and listen.  Oh, and make sure to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, and Instagram!

It’s the day after Fourth of July! The Fifth of July! Those words don’t carry quite the same weight, but it was rainy on the whole right side of the US yesterday, so hopefully everyone is out BBQ-ing today! Either that, or watching the World Cup quarterfinals! Either way, we’ve got a breezy summer soundtrack on the show today to keep you company. Plus, don’t forget to check out BTR on social media!
I like to ROCK!!
It's The Rock Show, bro. Think you can handle it? Pffft, probably not. Loser.
We’re feeling lazy. We want things to be easy, not hard. That’s where we’re at with it all this week. But, we don’t want to eat garbage food either. We need to figure something out so that we can maintain our foodie street cred, but not actually have to make much of an effort. Also, Hanabi will in the very near future be reporting from Seattle. We’ve got the west coast and east coast locked down!

Today on the show we're playing two tracks from the resurrected folk hero Linda Perhacs. It doesn't get more New Weird America than Linda. In 1970 she recorded a folk album that was lost to time, until New Weird America folks resurrected it decades later as a forgotten masterpiece. And now she has a brand new album out for us to share! All that and more on today's show, plus don't forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, and SoundCloud.
It's March!! March Madness! Or rather, music madness! We have a new album from Real Estate on the show today, which makes me so happy. But that's not all, we've got new Ava Luna and Black Lips, too! Plus, don't forget to check out BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, and SoundCloud!
This week on Sew & Tell, I am honored to feature a conversation with Adrienne Jones, Professor of Fashion Design at Pratt Institute and designer in her own right, who organized the current Pratt exhibit “Black Dress.” The exhibit shines a spotlight on the work from ten contemporary black designers, at a time when that population is sorely underrepresented in the world of fashion. Join us as Adrienne shares about her own career path in design and fashion education, how her godmother inspired “Black Dress,” the evolution of the exhibit and its featured designers, and more. Plus, a playlist chock-full of new music, including the latest from TEEN, Real Estate, Ages & Ages, and more! So tune in & turn it up - it’s time for fashion on BTR!
The Rock Show is back and better than ever, baby!!
