Kaur B has been killing it since her debut in 2013. Though her music is solid and standard fare, her standout track on Tigerstyle’s high tempo album Digi-Bang and her most recent duet with Diljit Dosanjh demonstrates she is no ordinary Kaur. The Beyond section traverses the globe with tracks from MALFKTION, Talal Qureshi, and a new from the Vancouver based label Snakes and Ladders.
New tracks from Garry Sandhu, Jordan Sandhu, and a surprisingly credible Sharry Mann remix, plus tracks from Rashmeet Kaur’s debut and Madame Gandhi’s latest albums in the beyond segment.
The classic duo Dr. Zeus and Zora Randhawa have another smash on their hands, while the other Randhawa gets back to his roots. Plus, a new one from violin maestro Raaginder in the beyond set.
DJ Rekha gives a Dr. Zeus recent history lesson in celebration of his new album that will be featured on next week’s show. In the beyond set she remembers French-Algerian superstar, Rachid Taha, and drops a new collaboration with Navv Inder and Delhi 2 Dublin.
Gippy Grewal sets the vibe with his new banger, Fuel, ending the set with another double G- Gang Gang from Fateh and Haji Springer. Same same but different as the beyond set has 2 tracks named Signs.
