Happy post-Christmas Saturday. Instead of going to the mall to return that ugly sweater, just embrace it and hang out with us here at BTR. It's part two of three of my chronological 2013 countdown! We're starting in April and going through the end of the summer in this section, so stayed tuned for all your favorite indie summer bangers!! And don't forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Part 3 of 6 shows in which I play my most favorite songs of 2013
It's Assistant Week on BTR! On today's show, we're getting an inside look at a day in the life of a virtual assistant. And later, we talk to scientists about the realities of the Fukushima nuclear disaster.

Today on the show we've got a brand new band that just happened to be named after one of my favorite comic book characters. Not to mention the best new track from Woods that we've heard in ages. It's the perfect soundtrack to mid-July Saturday. And don't forget to follow BTR on Facebook and Twitter!!
We are full-on into the summer now, with our 4th of July BBQs behind us. There's an army of good new music on the show today, including a track from Owen, who is of course Mike Kinsella from Joan of Arc and Cap'n Jazz, PLUS a really fun new one from Chicago rapper Serengeti, who often straddles the line between hip-hop and well, pretty much whatever else he feels like. And make sure to follow BTR on Facebook and Twitter for all of the latest and greatest on what's going on at BTR!
It's the day before the 4th of July!!! The fourth of July is as American as apple pie. It's about fireworks and cakes with blueberries and strawberries shaped like the American flag on them and the constitution. It's the most normal holiday we have. Which is why today we're gonna be real, real weird. Stay tuned for new tracks from Mood Rings and Baths, plus a new one for the show from The Microphones. And don't forget to follow BTR on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, and Pinterest.
The last Saturday in June, which means that music festival season is upon us. Which means that new albums are coming in scores every Tuesday. So stay tuned for new tracks from Superchunk, Boards of Canada, and Mood Ringers, plus pretty much every other song on the show today. And don't forget to follow BTR on Facebook and Twitter and Pinterest and tumblr.

Happy Friday! This week, in honor of BTR's surveillance-centered "We're Watching You' theme, Sew & Tell is watch-ing you! I'm joined by designer Martine Ilana, innovator behind La Mer Collections, one of the only independent watch lines for women. Martine's time pieces are unique, beautiful accessories, offered in a range of styles, from funky and bold to simple and classic. On today's show, Martine will talk about how an auto show in Detroit inspired her first design, how her global travels provide limitless inspiration, and how she designed her own clever website. Plus, a playlist full of wonderfully strange, innovative electronica today - tracks from Austra, Baths, Future Bible Heroes, and more! It all starts now on BTR, so tune in and turn it up! We're watching…

Yeah! Good show this week, I'm feeling it. The focus is real synth-heavy on this one. So there's enough nostalgia mixed with super newness to attract all the heads. So get on it, and feel the warmth... Glitch/DM -ed-
