Adeline Hotel is the musical project of Brooklyn songwriter Dan Knishkowy. Both the project’s recordings and this session, like any live incarnation of the band, involve a bevy of talented local musicians, whose names and faces might be familiar to any fans of the burgeoning local scene. Adeline Hotel is an effort to make sense of the everyday bits of life, and perhaps take a stab at some kind of bigger idea behind it all, laid out neatly on a bed of country-tinged slowcore. We caught up with the group at Williamsburg, Brooklyn’s current favorite music venue, Baby’s All Right, for an intimate performance in the round. It's Alright, Just The Same by Adeline Hotel is available now.
