Josie Boivin is a Montreal-based musician who records under the name MUNYA. With pristine production, tasteful live instrumentation, and an impossibly gorgeous vocal delivery, MUNYA’s music is a sort of familiar-yet-otherworldy indie pop, built on chill beat and synths with shades of French pop sweetening it all up just enough. Josie brought her one-woman performance to Serious Business Music for this special look at her tunes. MUNYA’s self-titled LP is available now from Luminelle.
