“Before The Ice” by Blake Hazard
BTR Live Studio | ep599 | Apr 11, 2017
Over the past decade or so, the Los Angeles-based Blake Hazard has gone from playing on the streets of New York City to the successful duo The Submarines and now on to her current solo project. Blake’s songs work beautifully in the context of a minimalist setup with just voice and guitar, but also lend themselves to huge pop production, which you can hear some of in the series of remixes being released this year. Here, she stopped by Serious Business Music in DUMBO solo for this intimate session!

The Styrofoam remix of “Hey” is out now, with more singles and remixes coming throughout 2017.
