“Schedule IV” by Very Fresh
BTR Live Studio | ep573 | Jan 10, 2017
Very Fresh is the musical project of Cindy Lou Gooden, a versatile musician who floats around the familiar Ava Luna and Speedy Ortiz orbit of bands. The band’s music is heavily anchored in the sweet verse-chorus-verse 90s territory with just slightly off-kilter, tender melodies. Cindy’s voice is raw and powerful, if deceptively gentle at times in a way that works to counter the punkish rhythms of the music. The band stopped by Serious Business Music in DUMBO, Brooklyn to share some tunes.

Very Fresh’s Hey, It's Me! EP is available now from New Professor Music and Inflated Records.
