While its still too cold for flowers to grow around New York, Bronx’s New York Botanical Garden is in bloom.
From now until Sunday, April 22, the Botanical Garden offers their annual antidote to late winter doldrums: their annual Orchid Show. This year’s installations were designed by Belgian Floral Artist Daniel Ost and include towering living sculptures, giant potted pieces and other surprising floral delights. Visitors can stop by during normal garden hours or check out one of their Orchid Evenings, when the blossoms and petals are paired with music and drinks.
Bryan Bruchman was there opening weekend to take in the sights.
