There were a lot of distractions this year, so it’s understandable if you missed a few albums here and there.

The Gorillaz and Arcade Fire snuck in a few releases this year that were impossible to miss for any indie music fan. But there are other indie bands that aren’t featured on MTV that released some awesome tunes that you may just have missed by accident. (Plus, MTV isn’t cool enough anymore to feature these musicians.)
