NYC-based saxophonist Tim Armacost talks about his new album Time Being on today’s episode of The Jazz Hole with Linus. On the exciting album, Tim Armacost joins forces with Robert Hurst, Jeff “Tain” Watts and special guest David Kikoski. Other brand new music today includes the Swiss trio VEIN (Michael Arbenz, Thomas Lähns and Florian Arbenz) and a track from their album VEIN plays RAVEL, as well as the internationally-acclaimed pianist and composer Fred Hersch with two tracks from his solo album Open Book. Today’s episode ends with the IN Trio, consisting of interview guest Tim Armacost, bassist Harvie S and drummer Christian Finger.
