Irina Groushevaia

Location: NYC // With BTR Since: 2016

Irina Groushevaia is the Social Media Director at BTR. She is also a staff writer and shoots the weekly photoblog.

Irina is originally from Moscow, Russia, and moved to New York in 2012 after finishing high school (she doesn't have any pet bears, unfortunately). She graduated from Baruch College with a BA in Journalism and Creative Writing, and minors in English and Photography. She's written for TheUntz.com, reporting about the hottest music festivals and for WhoWhatWhy.org, investigating political issues.

In her free time, you can find her at the newest modern art exhibit or playing general trivia at a local bar in Bushwick, where she happily resides and sips artisanal coffee.
